Bodyfriend är ett internationellt premiumföretag som är specialiserat på hälso- och medicinteknik, med huvudkontor i Sydkorea. Företaget grundades 2007 och är en pionjär som har utvecklat massagefåtöljer från de första generationerna av vilfåtöljer till ett AI-drivet ekosystem för välbefinnande.
Idag ser Bodyfriend sig inte längre enbart som en tillverkare av produkter, utan som ett företag inom digital hälsoteknik. Företaget har en omfattande forsknings- och utvecklingsavdelning med läkare och ortopediska experter. Målet är att utveckla massagefåtöljen från ett exklusivt avslappningsredskap till ett komplett centrum för rehabilitering och välbefinnande i hemmet.

While medical advances have increased life expectancy, yet healthy life expectancy has remained limited.
To address this gap, Bodyfriend has set ‘Extending Healthy Lifespan by 10 Years’ as its corporate vision, and established the industry’s first Medical R&D Center, focusing on the research and development of Healthcare Robots that enable people to enjoy healthier lives simply through daily massage.
Furthermore, we continue to innovate and evolve to develop full-body massage technologies tailored not only to the arms and legs, but also to the muscles, joints, and movements of the entire body.

We create Healthcare Robots that feels like a human massage.
In 2022, we unveiled the world’s first ‘Robotics Technology’, featuring independently moving legs. Through this technology, we achieved stretching effects for key muscles and core muscles that need to be maintained in daily life.
With this, Bodyfriend defined ‘healthcare robot’ as a robot that delicately stimulates muscles and provides core exercise through robotics technology that generates diverse movements throughout the entire body, thereby establishing its identity as a healthcare robotics company.Going beyond basic massage techniques such as tapping, kneading, pressing, and rubbing, even incorporating pulling motions, Bodyfriend’s Healthcare Robots aim to become ‘robots that care for health with movements closest to those of a human’.
